Clear, satin wood finish that uniquely combines the advantages of natural oils and waxes in one product.
Osmo Wood Wax Finish Clear Extra Thin is suitable for the protection of wood in indoor areas: wall and ceiling panelling, wooden flooring, furniture and toys. Due to its water-repelling qualities, also especially well suited to the use in wet rooms (kitchens, baths, swimming pools etc.). It is specifically developed for clear treatment of hardwoods rich in extractives/exotic woods, such as Teak, Iroko, Meranti, Wenge, Merbau etc.

Tips:

  • Recommended application: 35ml/m² per coat.
  • Wet coating can be corrected up to 30min.
  • Dried 1st coat can be smoothened with fine grain sandpaper P400/ Pad.
  • Recommended final sanding: flooring (P120-150) & furniture (P180-240).
  • After 2-3 weeks,fully cured & reached its' final liquid & wear resistant.
  • Recommended number of coats: one coat for furniture / two coats for flooring.
  • Applying the product too generously and insufficient ventilation lead to delays in drying time.
  • Apply max. one coat thinly to cabinet interiors and drawers with a cloth.
  • For other wood species without a high ingredient content, use Osmo Polyx®-Oil Original.
