Osmo Polyx Professional Color Oil
Professional, transparent colored, solvent free primer that uniquely combines the advantages of natural oils and waxes in one product. In comparison to conventional finishes, the use of plant ingredients creates a more evenly colored and more harmonious appearance.
Osmo Professional Color Oil is ideal as a colored primer for all wood floors as well as stairs and furniture, for which the application of solvent-free products is required, e.g. public spaces. Due to high solid content, application by professional craftsmen is recommended.

How to Apply Professional Color Oil
Finished surface in 2 days, 2 coats
1Sand (P120/180)
2Remove Dust
3Stir Well
4Spread thinly
5Buff Evenly
– Buffing Machine with White Pad –
6Let it Dry
– Normal Climatic Conditions –
7Second Coat
– Clear Polyx Oil –
Tips:
- 1 Coat of Professional Color Oil must be followed by a coat of Clear Polyx Oil.
- Recommended application: 15-20ml/m² per coat.
- Wet coating can be corrected up to 30min.
- Apply first coat with trowel and afterwards even out with a single disc machine with white pad or brush ring.
- For structured wood, remove excess with a brush and even out solely with a brush ring.
- Only transparent colored surfaces can be created with Polyx Professional Color Oil. For intensively colored surfaces, Osmo Oil Stain must be used.
- On smaller areas, Professional Color Oil can also be applied with a lint-free cloth.
- On white primed flooring, a top coat with Osmo Polyx Oil Tints 3040 White is recommended.
