Osmo Polyx Oil Original

Developed from natural oils and waxes. It is a premium clear Hard-wax Oil for all interior wooden products. Surface is tough and hard wearing as well as water repellent and dirt resistant. Cured surface is resistant against wine, cola, coffee, tea, milk etc. It is micro-porous and does not crack, flake, peel or blister. Because of that, it is an ideal treatment for rooms with high humidity. Partial Renovating is easy and just cleaning and oiling is enough. Thus, no sanding and removal of previous oil finish required. Easy apply, just two thin coats without primer. Available in different sheen levels from Matt to Glossy.

How to Apply Polyx Oil Original

Finished surface in 2 days, 2 coats

Sand (P120/180)

Remove Dust

Stir Well

Apply thinly

Let it Dry

Fine Sanding (P400)

Second Coat

– Repeat Steps 2 to 5 –

Tips:

Recommended application: 35ml/m² per coat.
Wet coating can be corrected up to 30min.
After 2-3 weeks,fully cured & reached its' final liquid & wear resistant.
For exotic hardwoods Osmo Wood Wax Finish Extra Thin recommended.
In bathroom/kitchens, base coat of Osmo Wood Protector recommended.
Touch dry in up to 4 hours and recoatable after 8 hours.
3062 Clear Matt over a dark colors may produce a white mist or powdery effect because of the included matting agents. It is recommended to apply 3065 Semi-Matt if a sheen is not desired. Always trial apply!
